Photo Credit

The new photo is of Collins Bobcat from Carolina Tiger Rescue. Amanda Byrne was kind enough to give me photos of Collins, as I have plans to do a series of paintings and drawings of bobcats. As one could guess, I'm pretty fond of these cats.

About Imogene Davis

Imogene is a research technician at the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory focusing on population genetics and ecotoxicology across an array of taxa. She received her master's degree in from West Texas A&M University in August 2015, where she focused on the landscape genetics of bobcats across western Texas. She has worked as a research technician on a variety of wildlife projects, from fishers to horned lizards to salamanders. Her interests in conservation biology include movements and connectivity, noninvasive sampling techniques, biodiversity, and public education. Working towards these goals has helped Imogene develop a love for hiking, more painting, and good beer with good friends.
